growers in England. Join a Guided Plantation Tour followed by a sampling of their very special

Light Lunch at Furzeleigh Mill followed by a Tea Ceremony & Introduction to Fine Tea 
Preparation back at Dartmoor Estate Tea.
Option to buy some of this very unique Dartmoor Tea to take home.

Friday

Visit South Devon Chilli Farm, to explore and taste some of the hottest Chillis in Devon, or 
sample their luscious chocolate or sauces and buy your own Chilli plants.
For lunch we will be visiting the award-winning organic farm and restaurant at Riverford Field 
Kitchen. Enjoy a delicious lunch of veg-centric seasonal food made with ingredients grown just a 
stone throw from your plate. After lunch visit their enormous polytunnel full of wonderful organic 
plants, and depending on the weather take some time to walk around the estate.

Calancombe Estate
Morning, Grand Tour of the award winning Calancombe Vineyards and Estate , plus a delicious 
lunch at the Estate Restaurant
Afternoon Gin making workshop and Tasting 
Please note that the Gin making will be substituted by a Rum tasting and talk from local 
producers Hattiers Rum on the October dates.

Buckfast Abbey, Devons most visited attraction is just a short 15 minute walk from the Hotel.
Buckfastleigh is also home to a Butterfly and Otter sanctuary and the famous South Devon 
Steam Railway.

Just down the road is Ashburton famous for its food, antique, craft, art and other quirky 
independent shops and bars and cafes. Take a stroll around this historic Stannary town in your 
free time.

For Foodies it boasts a superb Delicatessen and a Fish Delicatessen and Artisan Baker.
For Wine Buffs a visit to Jaded Palettes and a discussion about their superb collection and 
knowledge of wines is a must.
